Jack McGee Promoted to Controller at Tower Loan

Tower Loan is pleased to announce the promotion of Jack McGee to Controller, where he will take on an expanded leadership role in the company’s accounting department.

McGee joined Tower Loan as Assistant Controller in April 2025. He will step into the Controller position previously held by Clint Briggs, who has been promoted to Vice President of Finance. During his time as Assistant Controller, McGee worked closely with Briggs, gaining a deeper understanding of Tower’s operations, the consumer finance industry, and the responsibilities of the Controller role.

As Controller, McGee will help lead Tower’s accounting operations, including financial reporting, internal controls, audits, financial analysis, treasury activities, and the continued development of the Accounting team.

“I am excited to move into more of a decision-making role where I can use the skills I have developed throughout my career to help Tower continue to grow,” McGee said. “I am also looking forward to creating more efficiencies within the accounting department that will support timely reporting and improve accuracy.”

Before joining Tower, McGee worked in public accounting as a financial statement auditor, where he gained experience managing audit teams and working directly with business owners and executives. He credits that experience with helping strengthen his leadership, communication, and time management skills.

McGee describes his leadership style as collaborative and accessible, emphasizing clear expectations while encouraging employees to ask questions and share ideas.

“I want my team to know I am always available to help,” McGee said. “If they feel comfortable coming to me when they face difficulties, we can address roadblocks quickly and continue moving forward.”

Originally from Tupelo, Mississippi, McGee earned a Bachelor of Accountancy and Master of Professional Accountancy from Mississippi State University. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife, Kelsey, and their two sons, Griffin and Graham. He also enjoys golfing, hunting, and cheering on the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
