Tower Loan to Host Revvin’ for a Reason Car Show Benefiting Palmer Home for Children
Free community event will bring together automotive enthusiasts, families, and local businesses on Oct. 17 in Pearl
Tower Loan will host Revvin’ for a Reason: Open Car Show on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Outlets of Mississippi in Pearl, with net proceeds benefiting Palmer Home for Children.
The first-year community event is open to cars, trucks, Jeeps, and motorcycles of all makes, models, and years. Admission is free for spectators, and vehicle registration is $25. Participants may preregister or register their vehicles on-site the day of the event.
Revvin’ for a Reason will feature food, craft, and merchandise vendors, raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and vehicle awards, including Best of Show, Sponsor’s Choice, Top 30, and Club Recognition.
Food vendors scheduled to participate include Charlie B’s Ice Cream, The Charlie Horse, Superbee’s Pasta & BBQ, NuNu Tasty Que, Mississippi Nutrition, and Lula’s Italian Delights. Craft and merchandise vendors include Paint Me Creations, Charmed By Anna, Gallman Sauce Company, and She Sells Stuff.
“Revvin’ for a Reason gives us another opportunity to bring people together while supporting an organization Tower has been proud to support for nine consecutive years,” said Jodi Bomar, Legal Manager at Tower Loan and one of the organizers of Revvin’ for a Reason. “We hope car enthusiasts, families, and members of the community will join us for a fun day while learning more about the important work Palmer Home does for children and families.”
Palmer Home for Children is a faith-based nonprofit that provides safe, supportive, and restorative environments for vulnerable children and families. Through Campus Care, Foster Care, Family Care, and Transitional Care, Palmer Home supports the physical, emotional, educational, social, and spiritual needs of those it serves.
In 2025, Palmer Home served 289 children and provided 753 hours of therapy and 226 hours of tutoring, among other services and resources for children, families, and young adults.
Tower Loan created the event as an additional fundraising opportunity during its annual giving campaign for Palmer Home. The company has supported Palmer Home through the campaign for nine consecutive years, with employees across Tower participating in fundraising efforts.
Community members are encouraged to attend, participate in event activities, and learn more about Palmer Home. Automotive enthusiasts interested in displaying a vehicle may preregister before the event or register upon arrival.
