Archie Knox Promoted to Director of Training
Tower Loan is pleased to announce the promotion of Archie Knox to Director of Training. Archie is a seasoned instructional designer and innovative leader with a wealth of experience in learning and development, project management, and leadership, which will be pivotal in further driving Tower Loan’s training initiatives forward.
Before joining Tower, Archie was a Regional Learning & Development Manager at Comcast NBC Universal, overseeing Field Technicians and Network Engineer Training across 10 states. His responsibilities included New Hire Onboarding, Career Progression, and Leadership Development training, supporting a team of 15 Senior Training Consultants. Archie’s contributions were instrumental in building efficient and effective training programs that fostered career growth and skill enhancement for Comcast employees.
Before his time at Comcast, Archie held roles with United Healthcare, serving as a Claims Processing Manager and Instructional Designer in the Managed Care division. There, he led the creation of Continuous Improvement Training and Claims Processing Guides, significantly improving claims processing efficiencies and reducing errors.
Archie also gained valuable experience as a Regional Site Manager with C-Spire Wireless, where he oversaw Contact Center Operations across three states, led a team of 12 direct reports, and supported 300 agents. His efforts at C-Spire improved customer wait times and issue resolution, enhanced team morale, and reduced staff attrition.
Archie has also held training and process improvement roles with Travelers Insurance and AT&T Wireless, further establishing his reputation as a results-oriented leader committed to operational excellence.
A graduate of Jackson State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Archie is an avid reader and enjoys writing short stories. He loves to exercise at Planet Fitness. Additionally, Archie is dedicated to jogging. He says he attempts to jog 10 miles a week to maintain a healthy lifestyle. But he also says it’s his moments of self-reflection and determination to push himself forward.
