Welcoming Arnie Hederman as Director of Government Relations 

Tower Loan welcomes Arnie Hederman as Director of Government Relations, effective September 16, 2024. In this new position, he will lead the development and execution of the company’s state government relations strategy. Collaborating with government officials, policymakers, and key stakeholders to advocate for Tower’s mission and business objectives will be crucial. His efforts will ensure interests are well represented and aligned with various policies.

Hederman entered the national political scene in the early 1990s in Washington, D.C. Upon returning to Mississippi, he served as the Political Director of the Mississippi Republican Party. He was the Deputy Campaign Manager on Barbour’s gubernatorial campaign before becoming the Party’s Executive Director. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in numerous political campaigns. 

After shifting into lobbying, Hederman spent over 16 years building valuable relationships with elected officials, staff, and policymakers. In 2011, he was elected Chairman of the Mississippi Republican Party. He successfully secured control of 7 out of the 8 statewide offices and won majorities in the Mississippi House and Senate for the first time in modern history. 

Recognized as one of the Top 50 most influential people in Mississippi, Hederman has built a vast network of connections with elected officials and policymakers across Mississippi and Washington, DC. He is also The Consultants at Jackson’s newest member, making him the third member of the team dedicated to fostering strategic relationships with members of the Legislature on behalf of their clients. 

Bringing over 30 years of experience in political strategy, lobbying, and government relations at the state and national levels, Hederman will make a valuable member of Tower and this position. 

His influence and extensive knowledge of government relations reflect Tower’s support for policies benefiting customers and the consumer finance industry. Arnie Hederman is welcomed, and his valuable contributions to ongoing efforts are particularly anticipated.
